Diane Margaret Van Boven died at her home January 14, 2023. She was a graduate of Central Michigan University, a longtime resident of Ann Arbor, and a valued employee of Michigan Medicine as a Dietetic Technician. Diane was known at work as someone who had a knack for knowing when someone needed help and then she would reach out and just listen or help in any way she could. Her family will remember her for the loving, caring, and compassionate daughter, sister, and aunt that she was. Diane will be missed by many.
Diane was preceded in death by her older sister Lynda Van Boven and her twin sister Julie Van Boven. She is survived by her parents Joan and Samuel Van Boven of Battle Creek, her brothers Gregory Van Boven (David Beck) of Boston, Massachusetts, and Andrew Van Boven of South Lyon, her aunt June Everett of Bloomfield Hills, her cousin Jony Murphy (Paul Murphy) of Delton, and nieces and nephews Emma Van Boven, Zach Van Boven, Grace Van Boven, Katie Van Boven, and Sean Murphy. Diane’s family will welcome friends at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel of Ann Arbor on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor or Arbor Hospice.
