Terry was born on July 15, 1954, in Toccoa, Georgia, to Frank and Thelma (Dickson) Oller. Terry grew up in Silvis, Illinois and graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa. Following graduation Terry went to work as a salesman for various millwork businesses, ultimately finishing his career with Moehl Millwork. He met his wife, Tracy, in 1979 and the couple was married August 8, 1981. The couple was blessed with two children, Whitney and Ryne.
Terry will be remembered by those who knew him as a humble, caring man who always made time for people. Even during his toughest days, he found something to smile about and that positive attitude drew others to him. He was a great athlete and used his love of sports to connect with others.
There is no doubt how much Terry loved his family. From coaching his children when they were young to throwing a ball with the grandkids, he was happiest when he was with family. He worked hard, never hesitating to pick up extra hours or jobs, but did it all without seeking recognition. He was there for his family in so many ways.
Survivors include his wife; Tracy, daughter; Whitney (Joshua) Neville and their children Sophia, Piper, and Liam, son; Ryne (Elizabeth) Oller and their daughter Taylor, sisters; Peggy (Richard) Shaffer, Sharon Kelley, Joann (Michael) Waldron, Nancy (Steven) Glider, Sisters-in-law; Kelly (David) Messenger, Robin (Terry) Anderson, Janae (Timothy) Jelsma, Alyson (Mark) Skahill, parents; Thelma (Dickson) Oller.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Frank.
