Donald Land

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ankeny Funeral Home, 1510 West First Street, Ankeny, Iowa, 50023. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023 at the Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Berwick Cemetery following the service.

After Donald graduated high school, he enlisted in the Navy and Air Force, where he would acquire his love for aviation. Donald married the love of his life, Brenda Land on May 30th, 1982 in Rock Island, Illinois. After serving his country, Donald worked as an A&P Mechanic for several different companies. Later in his career after working his way up he served as an inspector for the Federal Aviation Administration. In retirement, Donald enjoyed driving the school bus for the Ankeny district.

Donald Eugene Land was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Jean Land, and his parents. Donald Eugene Land was survived by his step-children, Victor Pedraza, Michael Pedraza and John Pedraza (J.P.) and his siblings, Gay Lee Sutton and Jim Ewing.
