Cheryl Nicholson, 67, of Ankeny, Iowa passed away on September 6, 2024 at Mercy One Medical Center in Newton. She was born on December 27, 1956 in Centerville, Iowa to Vera and James Osborne. Cheryl married Kerry Nicholson on July 22, 1989. The couple made their home in Ankeny. She enjoyed sewing, and spent many hours making doll clothes and quilts.
Cheryl is survived by her son, Steven; sisters in law, Karen (Brian) Boesenberg, and Ann (Bill) Elenitsky; brother, Darrel (Pam) Osborne; two aunts, Martha Schopp and Pam Wendland, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vera and James Osborne, and her husband, Kerry.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
