Aaron Michael Tefft

Aaron Tefft, 30, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012 at home in Ankeny. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Faith Chapel (7384 NW 16th, Ankeny, IA). Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2012 and also 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Ankeny Funeral Home.

Aaron was born April 28, 1982 in Des Moines, IA, he grew up in Ankeny and graduated from Ankeny High School. He worked as a baker at the Cheesecake Factory, and was a very outgoing person, he enjoyed playing in pool leagues, golfing, softball, and was an avid Hawkeye fan.

Survivors include his mother, Cheri Tefft of Des Moines, IA; father, Charlie (Beth) Tefft of Tecumseh, Ontario Canada; brother, Nate Tefft of West Des Moines, IA; grandparents, Charles and Daphne Tefft of Ankeny, IA; Bette Blue of Webster City, IA; two step brothers, Hal and Zak of Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Aaron will truly be missed by our family and friends and will always be in our hearts.
