Eva grew up in Wibaux, Montana. It was there that she met and later married Cyril Parker on December 28, 1943. Cyril and Eva lived on the farm south of Wibaux where Cyril’s dad had homesteaded. They raised their four children, Delaine, Ronald, Irene, and Sharon, on that farm.
In 1966, they sold their farm and moved with their three younger children to Long Beach, California, to live near Cyril’s mother. Their oldest daughter, Delaine, also lived in California after having been married. In Long Beach, they managed apartment houses. In 1978, they moved to the Santa Barbara area and continued to manage apartment houses until their retirement in 1978. They then purchased a mobile home in Santa Barbara in a retirement community.
