Patricia Leanne Medina

Patricia graduated Everest College with a Medical Assistant degree and worked in Obstetrics Gynecology.

She enjoyed going to church and having a relationship with the Lord. She enjoyed the outdoors, being in nature, in particular she adored animals. Dogs were her favorite. During her pregnancies she would walk up and down the beaches, Patricia was a walker and loved getting around.

As a young girl she loved tumbling, gymnastics, dancing and performing with her older sisters. She was a reader at a young age, often impressing people with her ability to read chapter books before 8 years old. She loved all kinds of music, her favorite as a little girl was her grandfather Paul playing his accordion.

Patricia was an amazing artist she would draw faces, especially eyes, disney characters, angels and flowers.

Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Paul Joseph and Geraldine Mary Scaffidi, her paternal grandparents Claudio and Frances Medina, and her husband Benjamin Demman.

She will be greatly missed by those she is survived by; her mother, Cheryl Scaffidi, father, Ernesto Medina, her siblings, Annette Medina (Matthew, Natalie, Rosemary, Helena, & Victoria), Teresa Medina (Jasper, Francisco, Gabriel, Tony, & Emily), her twin Paul Medina, Michael Medina (Kayla, Jacob, Makai, & Zakai), and Frances Medina. Most of all she is survived by her 4 children, Mikaele Sagote 17, Atonio Sagote 16, Bernadette Chapa 13, and Baby Leanne 12. She lives forever in our hearts, and will never be forgotten. Our angel Patricia.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Stevens Memorial Chapel, 607 28th Street, Ames, Iowa 50010. Service to be lead by Larry Chatman. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home one hour before the service.

Reception to follow service, BBQ and fireworks.

Memorials will be directed to the family in loving memory of Patricia.
