On attended high school in Laos. After high school, On was united in marriage to Kheung Kiojai in April of 1970 in Laos. In September of 1982 they moved their family to the United States as refugees looking for a brighter future. After arriving to the United States, she was able to learn English as a second language very quickly. She worked 25+ years as a dietary aid before retiring. On was an active member with the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed studying the bible and the field work she had with her brothers and sisters. On loved spending time with her grand-daughters. She loved cooking for them, telling them stories, playing and laughing. She always said they made her feel young and healthy. On enjoyed being outside and in nature, especially hunting for mushrooms and being with her family.
On is survived by her husband, Kheung Kiojai; her children, Sengchanh Kiojai, Sensak Kiojai and Khamsai (Erin) Kiojai; her grand-daughters, Vayda Kiojai, and Myra Kiojai; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Khio Vanhkham and Nam Bounphanh; her daughter, Bounuck Kiojai, her son, Sudala Kiojai; and her sister, Khamdy Vanhkham.
A visitation for On will be held on Thursday, October 3rd, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stevens Memorial Chapel. A funeral service for On will be held on Friday, October 4th at 1 PM at Stevens Memorial Chapel. A livestream link will be available to stream On's service.
