Steve Grinie

Steve Grinie, age 59, of Amarillo, Texas. passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024. He was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. Steve dedicated over 20 years of his life to the United States Army, serving during Operation Desert Storm, reflecting his strong will and his commitment to his country.

Steve was a loving, caring, and strong-willed family man, survived by his wife Charli, daughter Brittany, son Steven Grinie, and 7 grandchildren. He also leaves behind his father Henry Q. Grinie and wife Mary, his mother Dora Simmons and husband Jodie, and his siblings, Stella Ramos, Henry R. Grinie, Eddie Grinie, Michael Simmons and John Paul Simmons along with their families.

Steve continued his education and received his Criminal Justice Degree. His life was marked by his dedication to his family, his country, and the simple joys of life. Such as playing with his beloved dogs and hanging out with his wife and family while relaxing in the sun, fishing and bowling. Leaving behind a legacy of love and honor.

His family and friends will miss him greatly.

A visitation for Steve will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 E., Amarillo, Texas 79118. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 6969 I-40 E., Amarillo, Texas 79119. A burial will occur Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6969 I-40 E., Amarillo, Texas 79118.
