Reta Boggess

She was born July 22, 1944 in Texhoma, Texas to Charles and Irene Twombly.

Reta was an active member of her sorority Alpha Beta Eta until her passing. She attended Draughn’s business college, then went to work for Northwest Texas Hospital in the billing department for over 25 years before retiring. Reta was an active member of The Church at Quail Creek for 37 years. She served on the Women’s leadership council and Adult life group leadership in the church. Reta was a strong lady who at one time worked 2 to 3 jobs at the same time. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and friend, she would help anyone whenever she was able.

Reta is survived by her loving husband; Edwin Boggess, two sons; Philip Shane Maples, and William Mark Maples, 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 6 nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Irene Twombly, daughter; Rebecca Renee Maples Smith, brothers; Louis Twombly, Art Twombly passing on July 27, 2008 and Lloyd Twombly, sister in-laws; Margaret Twombly and Billy Twombly.

Reta will be missed by both her family and friends.
