Ozelle Sutton, of Amarillo. Texas passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024. Ozelle Young Sutton was born in 1933 on a cotton farm near Hollis, Oklahoma. She’s the youngest of nine children. After high school she moved to Amarillo and worked for Southwestern Bell telephone company for most of her working life. She married Robert Sutton, and they celebrated 60 years of marriage before he passed away.
They had two girls, Crystal Lupton and Stacey Kelly, four grandchildren, Victoria Lupton, Cameron Lupton, Aaron McLaughlin, and Joshua McLaughlin, and one great grandson Jose Vargas.
She was proceeded in death by her daughter Crystal, her grandson Cameron, and her husband Robert.
She is survived by her sister Ella Auldridge. We will miss her greatly. She was shy and quiet and tried very hard not to be a bother, but we always wanted to help her. May she rest in peace.
