Michael Williams, 68, of Amarillo passed from this life October 6, 2024. Michael Douglas Williams was born on October 7, 1955, in Spokane, Washington, to Don and Pat Williams. He spent his childhood in Springfield, Colorado, and graduated from West Texas State University in 1978 with a degree in accounting. Throughout his career, Mike received numerous awards and accolades, including multiple recognitions as the CPA of the Year for the Texas Panhandle.
As a father to Ryan, Trenton, and Nathan, Mike coached his sons in various sports and supported each of them in pursuing their individual interests. He was deeply involved in the community, serving as a board member for both West Texas Christian School and San Jacinto Christian Academy for many years.
Mike cherished spending time with his grandchildren and was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church, where he served as Treasurer and became an elder. He also served as an elder at Cornerstone Baptist Church, remaining committed to his faith and community until his passing.
