Melinda Marchbanks Byard

Melinda Marchbanks Byard, 40 of Amarillo passed away January 31, 2013. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Cross Pointe Church with Sheldon DeVries, Lead Minister officiating. Melinda was born April 6, 1972 in Amarillo to Curtis and Billie Marchbanks. She attended River Road High School, graduating in 1990. She married her soul mate, Mark Randal Byard on September 25, 1993 in Amarillo. With her deep love of dogs, she established Critter Spa and Boutique where she could love and spoil not only her dog family but also the dogs her many clients brought to her shop. She was a loving and devoted wife, sister, and friend who loved life and family with all her heart.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Billie Marchbanks; mother-in-law, Eugenia Byard; father-in-law, Ray Byard; and brother, Larry Marchbanks. Melinda is survived by her husband, Mark Byard; their four legged children, Bug, Sable, Krikit, Jessie, Nokie, Talulah, Dega, NoNo and Nilah.; her father, Curtis Marchbanks of Amarillo; sister, Karan Rater and husband Ronnie of Mesquite; brothers, Dwight Marchbanks and wife Connie of Amarillo and Wiley Harkins and wife Bonnie of Fresno, California; sister-in-laws, Regina Russell and husband Jimmy of Canadian and Stephanie Francis and husband Glenn of College Station; brother-in-laws, Stephen Byard and wife Brandy of Midland, Ryan Byard of Silverton, John Byard and wife Kelli of Akron, Ohio; her nieces and nephews, Angie and husband Joel, Sarah and husband Robert, Joshua, Justin, Landry, Tiffany and husband Casey, Willie, Brandon, Branden and wife Andrea, Kyler, Jacob, Katelyn, Avery, Karsen, Dominic and Aaron, Chad and wife Courtney, Minka, Mistie, Kristi, Ricky, Ed and wife Angela, Tami and partner Ashley and lastly, newest addition,, Abigail Mae.
