Marion Utah Jordan, 87 of Amarillo died Sunday September 25, 2016.

Visitation and services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 6969 East Interstate 40, Amarillo TX 79118. Family will accept visitors on Tuesday September 27, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Services will be officiated by Rev. Sherman Eastland and Rev. Ed Arrington on Wednesday September 28, 2016 at 2 p.m. Graveside Service will be Friday September 30, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Laurel Land Cemetery located at 6000 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232.

“Tah” was born October 22, 1928 in Donna, TX to George W. and Ida Mae. Until retirement, he worked as a carpenter for many years.“Tah” was loved by everyone. He was very strong in his faith, he was a member of New Beginnings Gospel Center and loved his church family. He enjoyed his family, fishing, camping, playing with his grandchildren and singing.

Preceded in death by his parents and siblings, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors include a loving family that he was very devoted to: his wife Deloris Inila Jordan, 13 children, Terry Jordan and Kathy Koblinsky of Dallas, TX; Rocky Jordan of Cambridge, MA; Jessie, Edward, Johnny, and Gary Haney, and Doris Perry of Ft. Worth, TX; Frankie, Rhonda, Ruthie Haney, and Sandra Allred of Amarillo, TX; Debbie Yuna of Lubbock, TX along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
