Louise Blount Williams

Louise Williams, 96 of Amarillo passed away February 26, 2013. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Second Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Jones officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Louise was born August 31, 1916 in West Port, Tennesse to Willie and Siddie Blount. She married the love of her life, Carl Williams on August 8, 1938 in Tennessee. She was a homemaker who loved to take care of her family. Louise was a member of Second Baptist Church for more than 60 years. She enjoyed spending time painting at the Senior Citizens Center. Louise was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother and she will be greatly missed. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and one sister. Louise is survived by her sons, Charles Williams and wife Sharon and Dennis Williams and wife Patty both of Amarillo; sister, Mary Ruth Enochs of Tennessee; grandchildren, Carl and wife Angie, Kimberly and husband Robert, Andrew and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Stetson, Destiny, Haley and Hannah; also by her great-great-grandchild, Liberty.
