John Louis Dannelley was born July 16, 1928 in Grapeland, Texas. He later married Maxine Tucker on November 21, 1964 in Amarillo, Texas. John was a Texas A&M graduate and a was very loyal fan! He was Staff SGT in the USAF and served in the Korean Conflict. He was longtime and a devoted member of the San Jacinto Church of Christ, where he was very active in the Amarillo Bible Chair and High Plains Children`s Home . He loved working outdoors on his farm and on his tractors. The love of his life was his family and being involved in his grandchildren`s lives , he never missed a sporting event. John was a diehard Aggie fan , attending games and participating in Aggie traditions. He was preceded in death by his wife Maxine in 2009. The family asks memorials be made to Amarillo Bible Chair and High Plains Children`s Home.
