She was born November 22, 1934 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Willard and Hallie Sehorn.
Jo Ann loved having her family around, she loved cooking for them and taking good care, especially during the holidays and Sunday dinners. She worked hard her whole life starting in the cotton fields with her brothers and sisters. Jo Ann sang when she was younger and could yoddle like no one else. She was a hugger, never met a stranger. She was so kind but had a fiery redhead temper as well. Jo Ann loved her dogs and did not like seeing anyone or any animal cold or hungry. She always took special care with her hair and nails, loved Elvis Presley, Chuck Norris, and Vern Gosdin. Everyone who knew her or ever worked with her loved her and knew she cared for them.
Jo Ann is survived by her husband; James “Cotton” Adams, son; Jimmy Frank Adams and wife Cheryl of Amarillo, son in-law; Kirk Ashley of Amarillo, daughters; Patricia Lynn Irwin of Amarillo and Karen Denise McWilliams and husband Rick of Amarillo, 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great- grandchildren, brothers; Clifford Sehorn and wife Kay of Gilbert, Az., Darrell Sehorn and wife Linda of Pampa, Dee Sehorn and wife Carolyn of Amarillo, and C.B.
