He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Angie Carson. He is also survived by his sons Chris and wife Maggie Carson, Chris Solis, his daughter Lee Ann and husband Keith Manire, his father-in-law Rogelio Menchaca, eight grandchildren; Mackenzie Carson, Adrian Solis, CJ Manire, Kaden Solis, Elwood Manire, Chris Solis Jr., Milo Carson and Ellyana Solis.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Raymond Carson and Joanne Barney Carson, an infant brother Clarence Raymond Carson Jr., several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Wayne had four true loves; his wife, his children and grandchildren, music and his BBQing. Anyone that knew Wayne knew that rain, sun, snow, hot or cold, he could be found outside under the carport BBQing or smoking anything he could. The neighborhood always knew when he was outside cooking because you could smell the smoke in the air coming from his custom smoker.
His most cherished times were spent with family and friends out under that carport listening to a variety of types of music while he was mastering his smoking/BBQing techniques.
We, his family, are left with these wonderful memories of his cooking, his taste of music that opened our eyes and hearts to a wide variety of artists and genres and the love he had for us all.
