Drew Johnson, 77, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023. Graveside services are scheduled for 2pm, Tuesday, August 29, 2023 with Pastor Chuck Neil officiating.

Drew was born on September 27, 1945 to Lindsey Albert Johnson and Edith Marie Owens. He was a faithful kitchen employee of Northwest Texas Hospital for 55 years. Drew would catch the bus to work, because if those buses were running, he would be at work. He loved listening to old Country & Western music. He was a very sweet man who truly never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew him.

Drew was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bobby; his sister, Cathy, and one niece, Andrea.

Those left to cherish his memory are his very special friends, Wanda Boatman and husband, Shay, of Amarillo.
