Barbara "Bobbie" Marie Falcon-Mixon

Barbara (Bobbie) Marie Falcon Mixon, 95, died peacefully in her home on January 31, 2024. Chapel service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 6th, 2024, at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, with graveside service immediately following.

Barbara was born on April 17, 1928, in Geismar, Louisiana, to Thomas and Bernice Falcon. She was one of nine siblings, (four sisters and four brothers). She graduated from Zachary High School in 1945, then went on to business college and became an administrative assistant. She continued in her career until her retirement in 1989. She married Richard Mixon in 1951, and they remained together until his death in 1988. Barbara was an avid sports fan, she loved the Dallas Cowboys and also enjoyed watching the Dallas Stars play hockey. Family was most important to her; she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended families. Her generosity had no boundaries as she was always happy to help those in need and donated to numerous charities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, her sons, Joe, Brian, and Jeff, and granddaughter, Melissa.

Barbara is survived by her son, Craig, of Lucas, TX; son, Charles (Chaz), of Ft. Worth, TX; daughter, Melanie, of Chandler, AZ; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
