Amelia was born on July 30, 1939 to Francis and Hilda Neusch in Amarillo, TX.
She grew up on the family farm outside of Panhandle, TX. Amelia married Joe Dale Cruse on March 31,1965. Joe adopted Susan, Crystal, Raymond, and Timothy as his own on June 6, 1972. He died on June 11, 1994. Amelia loved life and family and met Lee Bellar. They married on September 20, 1980 and enjoyed traveling throughout the country. She worked at Amarillo Independent School District at Sunrise Elementary in the cafeteria serving the students and staff. Years later, she worked at St. Joseph Catholic School in the library. She was an active member of St. Joseph Church where she served on many of the celebrations they hosted such as the Christmas Turkey Dinner and the annual Swedish Meatball Dinner. Amelia touched many lives during her time on earth and she will be deeply missed.
Amelia is survived by her husband, Lee, six children, Susan and Danny Annett, Crystal and Rene Castillo, Raymond and Cindy Cruse, Tim and Polly Cruse, Ronnie and Arlette Bellar, and Michael Bellar. She is survived by thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Amelia is survived by six brothers and sisters: Edwin and Pat Neusch, Diane Whitaker, Leonard and Marie Neusch, Mildred and Gary Robertson, Noreen Edwards, Vernon and Wynell Neusch and her brother-in-law David Bellar.
Amelia is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Barbara Hammer, and a brother, Claude Neusch
