She was born November 15, 1925 in Fort Worth, Texas to David Godwin and Vanna Mae White.
Alice grew up at the Godwin Hatchery in Turkey, Texas along with her sister Jane. She went to nursing school in Amarillo, Texas and became an RN. Alice was a hard working nurse in Amarillo doing her job with a full heart. She was a very religious lady believing in Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents; husband; Dole Catching, sister; Jane Scott, half-sister; Helen Bank Godwin Wallsce of Arizona, and one niece; Lela Jo Conatser.
She is survived by 3 nephews; Jack Scott and wife Kelley of Tahoka, Texas, John Scott of Tahoka, Texas, and Freddie Scott of Tahoka, Texas, one niece; Rose Huskey and husband Steve of Odessa, Texas, many great nieces and nephews, and a close loving friend; Janet Williams.
All memorials will go to the Salvation Army.
