A very outspoken and direct woman, sister and friend.
She was born in Boston, MA., 29 March, 1930. As a reporter for the Boston Herald in the 1960's she had the unique opportunity to visit and interview Mrs. Rose Kennedy, at the Kennedy Compound, in Massachusetts. After moving to Florida in 1975, she continued her administrative abilities in the Sanford VA, Altamonte Police Dept. and Altamonte City Hall.
She is survived by her sister Elizabeth (Betty) McDonnell, of Diamond Bar, CA., nieces Catherine McDonnell, Diamond Bar, CA., Karen J. Brown, Citrus Springs, Martha J. Maldanado, Eustis, Joan E. Gosselin, Atlanta, GA., and nephews Robert S. (Steve) King, Casselberry, Joseph McDonnell, Los Angeles, CA., George McDonnell, Diamond Bar, CA., Robert McDonnell, Palm Springs, CA. She is preceded in death by her brother Robert Walter (Bob) King of Leesburg and Longwood, mother and father Percy and Ida King, Buzzards Bay, MA. She has 13 great nieces and nephews, and 6 great-great nieces and nephews in this area and GA. Aunt Polly, thank you for all your insights, and your direction while here. You will not be forgotten. We love you.
