Mary P. Armstrong, 93, devoted wife and mother of 5, died peacefully at home in Altamonte Springs, FL on Monday March 18, 2019. Mary was born and raised in Queens, NY to Michael and Maisie Leddy. Preceded in death by her husband of 70 years George E. Armstrong. She is survived by sons, Michael (Carla), Brian, Jim; daughters, Ave and Patricia (Gregg); her grandchildren, Kaitlin and Erin; and great grandchild Abigail. “Mae” was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved spending time with family & friends, creative writing and volunteering at her beloved St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Baldwin-Fairchild, 994 E. Altamonte Springs Drive. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 4th, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 869 Maitland Ave, Altamonte Springs, 32701.
