Carolyn Segrist Horn

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Col. Charles C. and Helen H. Segrist. She leaves behind one son, Justin Douglas (Jaclyn) Bogle and the love of her life, granddaughter Julia Anne Bogle, her loving sister and brother, Sherry L. Huntsinger and Charles C. (Susan) Segrist, nieces Kimberlee Sours and Sara Segrist, nephews Scott Sours and Kent Segrist.

Carolyn will always be remembered for her sense of humor and generous, friendly spirit. She loved the ocean, the Redskins and of course, Julia. Her nieces and nephews always thought that she was more than just an aunt. "We will miss you dearly, Aunt C"...and many others echo these sentiments.

She showed great courage during her final year of life and would often say, "Don't worry, I'm fine" and she was.

A memorial service will be held on September 15th from 11:00am-1:00pm at Demaine Funeral Home in Old Town, Alexandria. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

All family and friends are welcome to celebrate her life with us and share in the many blessed memories, which will never be forgotten.
