Michele Lee Bearden

Michele Lee Bearden, age 53, of Benton, passed away on August 28, 2024. She was born to Tommy and Charlotte Gilliam on November 23, 1970. She is survived by her husband Michael and their son, Ethan, her mother, Charlotte Gilliam, her brother TJ Gilliam, and her grandmother, Irene Murry Gilliam. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends, especially Renee Kuhn and Tammy Batchelor.

Michele was the truth-teller in our family and was a pillar of strength for all. She was there when she was needed, and naturally, would do the right thing in the simplest way as a matter of unwavering habit. She was caring, loyal, entertaining, fun and loved good friendships. Michele was the heart, mind and soul of her family. Her legacy can be seen in her son, Ethan, as she instilled those same qualities in him.

Our family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at Baptist Medical Center whose hands brought comfort not only to Michele, but to the family through her illness.

Visitation will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 AR Hwy 5, Alexander, AR. 72002, on Saturday, August 31, at 10 am, with services following at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association, 2222 Cottondale Lane, Little Rock AR 72202.

Michele had endured health issues for the last several months and fought the battle till the very end.

John 11:25-26

“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Michele believed.

She will be missed.

We will see her again.
