Kellie, Mr. Sheffield, Mrs. Sheffield, I am so sorry for your loss.  It is hard to believe a light as bright as Jamie's is gone.  I know she was the best big sister and loving daughter and that you miss her dearly.  

Something I will never forget:  I always think of how honored I was to play for Jamie's wedding recital, that she had picked me as she, herself, was so good!  She gave me a book of pop songs for weddings and I rehearsed quite a bit.  I missed the tempo on Chicago's, "Always and Forever" and it was more, well, like a  march than a slow, romantic song.  I played it more presto, not at all lento.  Someone in the crowd came to me and made me feel kinda bad for playing it at the wrong tempo.  In all the hubbub and excitement and she had to do, Jamie caught the other person's comment.  She came to me, smiled, whispered in my ear, "I like the song better the way you decided to play it....you play beautifully!"  Her uplifting and encouraging words meant the world to me.  I think of her, and of all of you, as uplifting and loving and you all have meant the world to me and my family.  Know that my family is thinking of you and holding you in our hearts as you grieve for Jamie.

I remember a time that Jamie and Brian went to eat with my parents  at Logan's Steak House.  she had a smile on her face the whole time.  we all had fun that night.  I will miss her smile.  She was a really sweet person.  May God comfort the family during this difficult time.  She was taken too soon and the world will not be the same without her in it.

Jamie exuded peace and love to everyone around her. She was so patient with teachers, parents, and students.  She made a huge positive impact on the Bryant community, and we will miss her so much.  My prayers continue to be with her family during this incredibly difficult time.

Jamie was such a sweet, sweet soul.  I am very thankful for her friendship.  I am thankful for her music.  I am thankful for her advocacy when my son, Carden Raines, was at Bethel.  I will miss her.  I will miss hearing her Christmas Music year round down the halls at Bethel.  I look forward to seeing her again one day in Heaven.  

Jamie will always be remembered for her love of family, smile, and her willingness to give her herself to anyone and anything that needed help.  She lived her faith and I believe she was “the world” to many.  Maybe part of her legacy can be for us to reach out and touch others like Jamie did every day.   Prayers and sympathy to all the family and friends who will miss her.

I worked with Jamie at Bethel and she was very kind and helpful to me. Jamie was a wonderful person and excellent educator. She cared deeply for the children she taught. She will be missed by all.

My family and I loved her so much. She was a great teacher and had a loving heart. We will keep the family in our prayers.  My God heal your heart. 

I knew Jamie from college. She said once we were two girls from Arkansas at ETBC.  I am from northeast Arkansas. One weekend, I think it was Easter, Jamie needed a ride home.  I go through Little Rock and was glad to have her along for the ride.  It seems like someone else was with us, but I don't remember who. Anyway  we had car trouble and my car broke down. It was getting dark. An 18 wheeler saw us and asked if we needed a ride. We were a little undecided, but needed to get to a phone. I remember there was a young man or two with the truck driver. I remember Jamie just chatting away and on our ride to a truck stop she witnessed to them.  After her dad picked us up we laughed about how that was probably not the best thing to do, but God was with us and protected us, and used us,  especially Jamie. I will miss her Facebook posts. To her children and parents, know that I am praying for you during this difficult time. I pray it brings you comfort knowing we will see Jamie again one day with our Heavenly Father. 

My earliest memories are sitting at the soccer fields with one eye on the game and the other on the littles playing in the dirt under the pine trees!  As the littles grew older their friendships persisted and our paths continued to cross!  A kind and gentle soul, Jamie was a joy to be around.  She always had a smile on her face and kind words!  Jamie will be missed by so many as she touched so many lives!  Prayers for her children and her grandchildren....

Jamie was an amazing pianist and a wonderful funny person.  Many will miss her.

Jamie was a great friend and coworker. I loved her spirit and her love for children at the school.  Heaven truly gain an angle and a fantastic cheer coach.  She will be missed tremendously. 

My favorite memory of her was seeing her in the hallways at school. She was always so nice to me. I will never forget her loving smile and such a bright personality. I know  2 of her girls very well. I saw her not to long ago when I was visiting my cousin and she had told me and mom that she had retired. I will miss her deeply and prayers and positive vibes are going out to the family. 

Jamie was the most positive and helpful person, in good times and difficult times. Many prayers to you, the family she left behind. I am so sorry your time with her was shortened. 

I met Jamie a little over a year ago and we have been together ever since. She was the kindest,most positive person I have known. She loved her job,students,cheer girls, and faculty members. She impacted my life in so many ways and always brought out the best in me. Her smile and laugh were contagious,which is one of the things that attracted me the most. She had the biggest heart and would go out of her way to help anyone. She loved playing the piano she got so excited thinking about and decorating for Christmas. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren,she was so very proud of all of them. We always had so much fun together and were looking forward to our future. I’m not sure what I’m going to do without her, but I know that she would want to be positive,stay strong, and cherish the memories that I have of the time we shared. I will love and miss my girl always. Even though my heart is broken, I know she will be there and helping me to heal. She will live in my heart forever and I know that Heaven is rejoicing having her there. 

Jamie was a precious lady. I am so thankful our paths crossed at Bryant Schools and my prayers are with her sweet family. I will never forget her beautiful smile and kind spirit and how she loved her students deeply. She was the epitome of The Love of Jesus and will be missed. Until we meet again in Heaven...

I'll never forget Jamie's smile, laugh and warm heart. I co-taught with Jamie at Bryant Middle School , had 3 of her wonderful children in class, and we rode together many times to Searcy for a Reading workshop over a 2 yr. Period. We shared so many laughs and good times. Jamie never had an unkind word to say about anyone. She was an exceptional person who loved the Lord and loved her family and students. I will never forget her and feel so very blessed to have known her. She will be missed, but I will remember the joy she brought to my life and into the lives of all she touched.

Jamie and I went to college together, and even dated for a while. We met because I played baseball and she was a cheerleader and she used to hang out with the Danger Rangers, a group of guys that I was a member of.  One of the guys nick-named her "Spike" and we refer to her by that name even today. She was such a fun and funny lady, and such a Sweetheart. We had just reconnected in the past year and we planning to get together once she got well. Unfortunately God determined He needed her more than we do. I will surely miss that Sweet Smiling Face and all the fun times and memories we shared. I know how much she loved each of you and her commitment to you, her family. May you be comforted by the fact that she is in Heaven with Jesus and God the Father and the fact that she touched so many lives and was loved by so many,
