James Robert Whitehead was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 27, 1940 to Dr. Robert H. Whitehead Jr. and his wife Kathleen. He died peacefully on June 9, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
James was a police officer for 30 years with the Little Rock Police Department.
James was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 45 years, Jackie. He is survived by his son, Chris Whitehead (Gina); daughter, Julie Stearns; four grandchildren, Abbi Stearns, Anna Buckley, Jay Whitehead, and Allison Uscocovich; and three great grandchildren; brother, Harry Whitehead.
