Erma J Pollard

Erma Jean Pollard, 91, passed away on Thursday May 14, 2020. Erma was born in Velvet Ridge, AR, on April 25, 1929, to John Thomas and Arizona Corbit. Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Pollard, Sr.; parents; sisters, Clarie, Dorothy, and Irene; and brothers, JT and Olin.

Erma was a licensed practical nurse, retiring from St. Vincent Infirmary after 30 plus years. Erma loved to read, cook (she could resurrect even the most expired veggies) and travel. After retirement, Erma and Norman officially became snowbirds, living in Apache Junction, AZ, during the winter months and then continuing to travel to Branson, MO, and various parks throughout the country.

Erma is survived by her son, Norman, Jr. (Virginia); granddaughters, Nikki and Melanie; step grandson, Jerry Jones; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to The Crossing at Riverside in Searcy, AR; the Waters on West Dixon, Little Rock, AR; and to Arkansas Hospice.

There will be no public service at this time. If you wish, please make make a donation to AR Hospice or your favorite charity.
