Elizabeth Rose (Lacey) Ishee passed away peacefully on the evening of December 14th, 2024. More affectionately known as “Beth” or “Meenaw” by her family and friends. The very family and friends that surrounded her in good company during her final days – mourning, and rejoicing, in the life of their dear mother, grandmother, friend and co-worker. She passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she was born 71 years prior on April 15th, 1953. Like the seasons of which she was born and deceased, a rose, like her name, blossoms in the spring before returning to the winter’s earth.
Beth worked in medical records and transcription at Baptist Medical Center in Stuttgart and Little Rock for over 30 dedicated, hard working years. She took pride in her work, but nothing meant more to Beth than her family. She is survived by her three sons, Patrick, Michael and William, her daughter in laws, Toinette, Savannah, Reyna and Randie, her ten grandchildren, Ajala, Kaly, Zack, Brent, Dayanara, Ayanna, Bishop, MJ, Russell, Rose, and eight great-grandchildren. All of whom will miss her wit, guidance and company.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Mettis Lacey and her two siblings, Betty Cole and Billy Lacey.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, December 21st at Pinecrest Funeral Home and Memorial Park, where flowers may be sent. A visitation will take place prior to the service, from 12-2 pm. Wake to follow.
