John Pettitt, age 81, of Maryville, passed away August 22, 2018. He was a Navy veteran. John is preceded in death by his parents Reed and Jessie Pettitt; brother Jimmy Pettitt and sister Phyllis Williams Garland. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law Leon Pettitt and wife Joan, his son and daughter-in-law Douglass Pettitt and wife Olivia, daughter Marcy Pettitt and daughter and son-in-law Lolli Fleming and husband David; grandchildren: Isabelle and Rose Pettitt, Kendall, Chase and Wynslow Wilmot, and Delia, Lola and Camden Fleming; and beloved cat, Gingerbread.
