Mr. Herrmann was a truck driver and dispatcher for several companies, and also served in the United States Coast Guard. He loved his collection of baseball caps, belt buckles and loved to talk and share stories.
Survivors include his wife, Dessie Herrmann; son, Kenneth Herrmann; daughters: Judy Perez (John), Deborah Shepard (Bill) and Theresa Palermo (Glen, Sr.); Seven grandchildren: Suzanne Danna, Roy Acosta III, Derrick Acosta, Jennifer Acosta and Glenn Palermo, Jr.; great grandchildren: Autumn Danna, Amber Julian, Ashleigh White, Michael J. Acosta, Kaitlyn Acosta, Gavin Acosta and Camrynn Acosta and 1 great-great grandchild, Stephanie M. White. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 19, 2017 from 1-2 pm in the Sherwood Chapel, with the Funeral Service following. Entombment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
