HAUN, Charles J. "Sye", age 84 of Blount County, passed from this life on Earth to eternal life with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, April 4, 2011. He was retired from TVA and was a member of Anchor of Hope Tabernacle. He was known around Blount County as Sye Haun, who with his brother James, operated a rolling store. Sye never had anything bad to say about anyone. Preceded in death by parents, Harrison T. and Mary Emiline Haun; sisters, Maggie Haun and Lucille Wilburn; and brother-in-law, Earl Wilburn. Survived by loving wife of 59 years, Thelma Isilee (Dorsey) Haun; sons, Charles Edward "Eddie" Haun and wife, Jackie, Rev. Ricky Lynn Haun and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Jeni Haun, Jessi Carter and husband, Tommy, Lucas Haun, of the US Army 501st Airborne Infantry, and his wife, Sasha; great-grandchildren, Colton Beams and Annabel Carter; brother, James Haun, and sister, Hilda Jo Lowe. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Anchor of Hope Tabernacle, 110 North Everett High Street at Five Point, Maryville, Tennessee. Funeral will be on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at Sherwood Mausoleum Chapel, with Rev. Carl Crowe and Rev. Ricky Haun officiating. Entombment to follow.
