Thomas Lloyd Kalenchick

Thomas L. Kalenchick, 56, of Southgate, formerly of Albion, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016. He was born September 10, 1959 in Albion, Michigan to Tom and Norma (Lloyd) Kalenchick. On September 6, 1980 he married Laurel Morris. He was employed at Cadon Plating Company in Wyandotte, Michigan since 1991. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, gardening, was a Nascar Fan, University of Michigan Football, Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers Fan. Tom was loved and will be truly missed by many.

Survivors include (4) daughters Kari Betancourt of Woodbridge, Virginia, Kasey Kalenchick of Albion, Michigan, Kristin Kalenchick of Jackson, Michigan, Kayla Kalenchick of Battle Creek, Michigan, (1) son-in-law Samuel Betancourt of Woodbridge, Virginia and (7) grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 4-6p.m. at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224 with funeral service to follow at 6p.m. with Rev. Darlene Kuhn officiating.
