Samuel Charles Wolf

Samuel Charles Wolf “Sam” of Albion passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 under the loving care of his family and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. He was born October 25, 1952 in Eaton Rapids, MI the son of Edwin and Marilyn (Keesler) Wolf. On October 21, 2000 he married Diane Day in Albion and she survives.

Sam was employed with Guardian Fiberglass for 26 years and most recently Tac Manufacturing for 10 years. Sam’s passion was Golf and any opportunity to be at the golf course was met with enthusiasm. He also enjoyed driving his sports car around and bowling.

In addition to his loving wife of 20 years, Diane Wolf, Sam also leaves 5 children: Jody (Jenny) Wolf, Torre (Jason) Senft, Christopher (Liddy) Day, Thomas Paugh Jr., Jennifer (Torrell) Swanson, 11 grandchildren: Michael, Thomas, Katherine, Adam, Cameron, Avary, Devan, Taliyah, Taviah, Cameron, Hailee, 1 sister, Sheila Day, 2 brothers, Steve (Diane) Wolf, Sandy Wolf and many extended family and friends.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 2-6 PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion. A service to celebrate his life will follow at the funeral home on Monday, August 24, 2020 with visitation at 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM with Pastor Mike Peters officiating. Cremation will follow and his urn will be interred in Albion Memory Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
