Marjorie Marie Murray

Marjorie M. Murray, 86, of Albion passed away Wednesday December 12, 2012 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, MI. She was born September 8, 1926 in Albion to John and Mary (Banoczek) Wasick. On September 27, 1947 she was married to her High School Sweetheart Richard D. “Dick” Murray in Albion and he preceded her in death November 5, 2001.

She has been a resident of the area all of her life. She worked at Cartright Shoes in Albion; she was a lifetime member of St. John Catholic Church in Albion and a member of its Choir and the Altar Society. She enjoyed spending summers at Carp Lake with her husband; saying the Rosary; Eating out and going to Shuler’s restaurant.

She is survived by: Sister Stella (Robert) Osterberg of Rosemount, MN; Brother Matthew “Mick”

(Joyce) Wasick of Albion, MI; many Nieces and Nephews. Besides her Husband and Parents, she was preceded in death by Sisters Mary Garn, Sally Schultz, Lucille Rustenholtz, and Subina Fendler; and a Brother John Wasick Jr.

Visitation for Family and Friends will be Sunday December 16, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home on Sunday December 16, 2012. The Funeral Mass will be Monday December 17, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John Catholic Church, 1020 Irwin Avenue, Albion, MI 49224 with Rev. Fr. Joe Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery- Albion
