Jesucita "Susie" Saldivar

Susie loved her large family first and foremost, especially family gatherings when everyone was together. She was also an avid sports fan. She enjoyed watching her kids play sports and her favorite teams were the Detroit Tigers and the Green Bay Packers. She was very active in sports, golfing, bowling, and playing softball. She also loved all types of music, attending several concerts: rock n roll, country, Spanish music, and disco.

She is survived by her husband, Matias Saldivar; children, Rene (Shannen) Saldivar and Patrick Saldivar; grandchildren, Jeremy Saldivar, Wesley Saldivar, Michael Saldivar, and Wyatt (Maria) Saldivar, great-granddaughter, Marceline Saldivar; father, Alejandro Nieto; siblings, Alex (Mary Lou) Nieto, II, Julia Chandler, Raul Nieto, Gilbert (Jayne) Nieto, Tony Nieto, Ruthie (Keith) Whipple, as well as, several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Susie is preceded in death by her mother, Manuela (Vargas) Nieto and brother, Richard Nieto.

There will be a visitation held on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI with a Rosary Service following at 7:00pm. Services will follow the next day, Tuesday, April 29, 2025, with visitation at 11:00am and funeral service at 12:00pm at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home. Susie will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, Albion, MI.
