Jeff David Taylor Jr.

Jeff was a quiet man who loved to read books and spend time with his grandchildren taking them to feed the ducks and thrift shopping. David was employed at Hayes Albion. He loved traveling, fishing, and sitting outside under his favorite tree, playing with the grandchildren. Every time they saw him, he had a bag of chips for them.

He served his country faithfully in the United States Army as a Corporal from 1951 – 1953.

He is survived by his daughters, Callie Taylor and Sandra Taylor; siblings, Beverly Anderson, Robert Taylor, and Lynda Gardenhire. Grandchildren; Ta’hlia Davis, Deon Smith II, Callie Taylor-Smit, Deon Smith III, and Ki’ara Taylor-Smith; and life-long partner, Beulah Hampton, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Cynthia Taylor, and siblings, Henry Curtis, Ethel Willis, Willie (Jake) Taylor, and John Brooks.

Services are scheduled for Friday, September 29th, 2023 at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr. Albion, MI. Family Hour will begin at 11:00 AM with the Funeral Service following at 12:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, Albion, MI.
