 Brenda and family- I am so sorry to hear about Donnys passing.  He was one of the nicest guys you’d ever met.  I remember when you two  were first were dating and you  arranged a dinner date and set me up on a blind date.  We all had some great times and many laughs.  I know you have a very strong family and with God’s help you will get thru this very difficult time.   Enjoy the grandkids and know that Donny is watching over all of you.  And when you are struggling on a day without him- try to remember those good memories all of you made together.  And to Brenda my friend-Though I can’t remember how you two met- I do know that you two were made for each other.  Hugs!❤️🙏🏻

I did not know Don that well but I am friends with his wife Brenda. I love you and I sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Don's passing, I knew him for at least the last 30  years thru selling and, many times delivering building materials from Tappan Bros./ Norandex Inc, and most recently, US Lumber Co. It was always a pleasure to work with and talk with Don, his son and all the guys on his crew. We had a great business relationship, and even better, I am proud to say he was my friend. Rest in peace, my friend - you are missed....

I am so sorry to hear of Dons passing.  It eases my heart knowing that he has such a loving, supportive and caring family that adores him and would do anything for him!  

One of my favorite memories of Don was Family night downtown  at the old moose! We would all get caught up in the party fun, playing pool and darts, and keeping the jukebox going! You get the right song on and Don could bust a rug like no one’s tomorrow! He was a great dance partner!! And he also  made the best turkey jerky I’ve ever had in my life!

The atmosphere in any room would change when the Hoyts arrived! There is something to say about how well he raised his family to stick together, always! They are the closest family unit I have ever seen. I know together they will be okay and get through this! I wish I could be there to support you all in this time and hate that I’m not able too. Please know, I am thinking of each one of you and sending a big hug, my love and support.

I'm so sorry for your loss . Don was a kindhearted man. He always took care of both my grandma and grandpa. He will be missed by many.  


Donny was more than a neighbor, he helped me out with various projects, was a friendly face and voice at the local gatherings...just an all around great guy. We will miss him. For Brenda and family, please accept our condolences and know that we share in your sadness. 

This is very sad news.  Don did work for my mother and me several times over the years.  He was a good guy and did good work.  He will be missed.  Rest in Peace, Don.

You will be missed Don!  Thanks for always letting me hunt and I will remember the hunters breakfast in the pole barn and all the great laughs.  

Was taken back to hear of Donnies passing.  We’ve been working together for better part of 30 years (my company Doors Unlimited). We were more than business friends but got to be close when I would see him on job sites.   We’d  always talk hunting and some of the conquest that was had.  Through this time of fighting this disease Donnie was always positive to me always saying he’d beat this .   As a friend in business to the family will miss Donnie and pray for the family and wanted you to know he was a great person.
