Billy Lawhorn

Billy Joe Lawhorn age 68 of Albion passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 at the home of his niece and under her loving care, Melissa (John) Cousino Rawlings. Billy was born November 7, 1956 in Albion the son of Eliza and Elsie Mae (Shelton) Lawhorn and they preceded him in death. Billy was also preceded in death by siblings: Benjie Lawhorn, Jay Reynolds, Kathy Cousino, Joebob Lawhorn and Elsie Lee Reynolds.

Billy had a big, loving heart, especially for his nieces and nephews but one of his favorite things to do was aggravate them. While he loved to have fun, he was also a loving caregiver and would do whatever he could to nurture and care for those around him. He loved to go fishing and play cards as well as ride around on his moped. He also loved his cats and dogs and would do anything for them to make their lives here on earth a little better.

Billy leaves to cherish his memory brothers, Donnie Lawhorn, Larry Lawhorn, sister, Willie Foster and several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Billy’s wishes were to be cremated and there are no formal services scheduled at this time.
