He was born June 1, 1933 in St. Louis Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Vi-Linda (Dunn) Kitchene and children, Tom, Tim, and Bobby Kitchene, Teresa McWilliams and Shane Hamm, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and by two sisters Denalee (Mel) Standart and Judy (Bob) Markman. He recently found some of his biological family through a cousin, Katherine Wingate and is survived by brothers George, Orval and Paul and sisters Betty and JoAnn. He was finally able to meet some of them in 2017 shortly before his passing, which was a great blessing to him. He was preceded in death by his first wife Patsy (McDowell) Kitchene and daughter Lisa Kinsey and adoptive parents George and Mildred Kitchene.
He was a State Farm Insurance agent in Albion, Illinois for 33 years before retiring to Florida. He loved God, and spending time with his family, was an avid golfer and loved cruising. Anyone who knew Bob, knew he would always have a joke ready and I’m sure heaven is laughing with him.
He will be greatly missed and a graveside service for family and friends will be held on May 4th, 2018 at 2 pm at Graceland Cemetery in Albion, Illinois.
