Larry was born on June 9, 1946 in Mansfield, Ohio to Jay and Martha (Lynn) Bosh. He graduated from Mansfield Senior High School. Larry earned his MBA from Baldwin-Wallace University in 1991. He retired as a minister from The Salvation Army in 2012. Larry enjoyed painting, especially oil painting, writing poetry and gardening. He loved doing bible studies and teaching others. Larry was truly a devoted man of God.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, James Bosh.
Larry will be deeply missed by his wife of 56 years, Gillian, daughter, Kristen Bosh, grandchildren, Allison and Sarah Holmes, brother, Richard (Geraldine) Bosh, and sister, Jennifer Helpard.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at The Salvation Army, 190 South Maple Street, Akron, Ohio 44302.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army-Akron Citadel Corps World Services.
