Becky L. Bunosky (nee: Steffens), age 67, passed away September 14, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Ken for over 42 years. Becky was the devoted mother of Brian who preceded her in death in 2002.
Becky was a loving sister in-law to Ron and Martha Bunosky and a dear aunt to their daughters; Lynn (Mark) Presnell, Lisa (Donald) Shaner and Becky Mirsalis and proud great aunt of Dylan Mirsalis.
Becky was an art teacher in the Shaker Heights School District for many years. She was a wonderful friend, teacher, painter, and potter. Becky was an avid equestrian who loved animals of all kinds.
Family will receive friends Sunday, September 18, from 2-7 pm at the Catavolos Funeral Home 3653 W. Market St., Fairlawn, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11am. Rev. Father Tom Fanta from The Church of St. Dominic in Shaker Heights will be officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Becky’s name to the Lung Cancer Alliance P.O. Box 418372 Boston, MA 02241.
