John (Jong) Wong

Suddenly at the Scarborough General Hospital on Wednesday, March 7th, 2012 at the age of 86.

John was the beloved husband of Sunny (2006) for almost 65 years and was the loving father of Jean (Jane) and her husband Ken Mah of Hamilton, Garry (Roy) and his wife Margaret of Toronto, David and his wife Tunny of Acton, Brian and his wife Daniela of Orton and Shelley and her husband Chris Vanderpol of Ottawa.

He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren: Michael, Bonnie and her husband Matt, Derek and his wife Natalie, Stephanie, Corrinna, Jordan, Josh, Alex and Nicholas, Melanie and Samuel and his great-grandson Nolen. He is survived by his brother Kong and his wife Theresa and their family.

The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home “Shoemaker Chapel”, 55 Mill Street East, Acton, on Sunday, March 11th from 2 to 5 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be held in the Carfrae Chapel of Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto at two o’clock on Monday, March 12th, 2012.

Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
