August 14, 1927 – August 9, 2020
The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Anne Drysdale, just short of her 93rd birthday. Anne was born in Acton and she truly loved everything about the town. She raised 5 children with Jack who passed in 1974. A few years later she met Wally Kowall and they spent 30+ wonderful years together before his passing in 2006. Anne worked many years at the Acton Medical Centre, then as the receptionist at Beardmores until it closed. She was a member of the Acton Legion ladies auxiliary. Loved and missed dearly by her children: Philip (Christine), Larry (Jackie) Susan (Brian), Dianne, Lori and the late Doug Hewitt. Anne was very proud of her 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great, Great. Will also be greatly missed by Mark, Terry & Zak Kowall and Scott & Rosemary Kowall. Along with the McNabb and Lasby, nieces and nephews. A huge thank you to ALL the staff at The Riverside Glen, Guelph, for the terrific care these past couple of years.
A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
If desired, donations to C.A.S.H.H (Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills), would be appreciated by the family.
