A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022. at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.
Mary was born in Ada, Oklahoma to the late Charles Walter and Voltina Eugenia (Estill) Walsh. She was raised in Graham where she graduated from high school. Mary enjoyed the simple things of life. Through the years she was an avid bridge player and even learned to line dance in her 60's. She had a special love for her family especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milton Cox; siblings, Charles Walsh, Patrick Walsh, and Marcella "Marcy" MacRobert.
She is survived by her sister, Sandra Newell; children, James Mark Swaim and his wife, Carol, Mitchell Edward Swaim, and Shelley Ann Matthews; her beloved grandchildren; Brian Michael Matthews and his wife, Shilpa; Marissa Nicole Matthews, Rebecca Ann Swaim, and James Wilkes Swaim; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial Contributions can be made in her name to Meals on Wheels.
