Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Highway 277 South, Abilene, with Johnny Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Linda was born December 7, 1963 to Doyle Kimmell and Ruby Jean Heath Bullard in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She moved to Abilene as a child and grew up here until she married Donald Bryce. Donald was in the United States Air Force which gave Linda the opportunity to see the world – living in Alaska, Panama, and Texas. They finally settled down back here in Abilene. She was a house wife for the most part. Linda worked for the City of Abilene for the last 7 years and loved her job and friends at work. Her other love was for her dogs, Missy and Pepper. Linda also loved music and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald (Don) Bryce, Jr. (April 3, 2011); her grandparents; her sister, Alene Davis; and a nephew, Chris Kalka.
Survivors include her siblings, Judy Harper and husband, Loyd, of Well, Texas, Donald Reynolds and wife, Diane, Glinda Dorsey and husband, Edward, all of Abilene, Tina Tidwell and husband, Larry, of Madill, Oklahoma; many nieces and nephews; and best friend, Dave Limley.
