James Wells, 39 of Abilene, passed away in Abilene on February 17, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday February 20, 2018 at the Abilene State Supported Living Center with chaplain Bill Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the Abilene State Supported Living Center Cemetery.
James was a very happy man. He always charmed people with his smile and everywhere he went, his smile would brighten the whole room. He was very good at arm wrestling as long as he could cheat. He loved to play jokes on people. His favorite color was blue, which caused him to be a huge Dallas Cowboy fan. James had many friends but he was partial to all the girls. Seems like all the girls would spoil him. He was a member of the Aktion Club and was very involved. James also loved listening to his radio but only on his favorite radio station, KEAN 105. Thank you Fearless Freddy for all the wonderful music.
James is preceded in death by his grandparents Dale and Katie McIntosh, Jerry and Jerene Senkirik, Delta Burns and Harrell and Annie Hope.
Survivors include his father James & wife Lety Wells of Hobbs NM; mother Jody & Calvin Sharp of Allison, TX; a sister Connie & husband Cary Tevis of Artesia NM; aunt Cheryl & Roger Cullins of Daleville AL; uncle Old Bill & Jenny Beaird of Baird TX.
Special gratitude to all the staff at the Abilene State Supported Living Center.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest Memorial donations to Hendrick Hospice or the Volunteer Services in care of Abilene State Supported Living Center.
