Daniel M. Martinez

Mr. Martinez was born January 3, 1949 in Culiacan Sinaloa Mexico to Matius, and Rosalia Martinez. He was the second oldest of seven children. He later moved to Abilene, Texas in 1965 where he started working at Wommack Grease Company. He then worked for Barr Roofing for over 30 years, and after started his self-employment DM roofing, until his passing.

Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his parents: Son: Danny Jesus Martinez, whom he loved so much. Brothers: Marcos, and Roberto, Sister: Martina. Two nephews, and one niece. Also was preceded in death by his furry friend Precious.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dora E. Martinez: Sister: Miriam Martinez of Abilene, Leecha, and Juanita of Mexico. Son: Albert Martinez and Melissa of Grand Prairie. Daughter: Rosemary Valero (Isabel), and Luis Amaro (Amanda), whom he raised as his own. His step children: Nancy Moreno, Jose and Jimmy Rodriguez, as well as their families. He also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Several nieces, and nephews. Also a special niece he carried in his heart, Rocio Casillas.

Dad, you were the BEST DAD, you were always there for us, and taught us the value of hard work as you were the hardest worker we knew until your passing. We will hold in our hearts all the good memories you left us.

Dad never met a stranger, because he would make small talk with anyone! We will miss the jokes you always told to make us laugh. You had the biggest heart, and smile. You will forever be in our hearts. We will cherish the memory until we meet again in Heaven
