Stephen Shawn Newman

Loved ones left to mourn are his sons; Brady & Logan; parents, Wayne and Brenda Newman; brother, Mark Newman; sister-in-law, Linda Newman; paternal grandmother Jean Bennett (Newman); many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family. Also left to mourn are many valued friends.

He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Herman and Doris Banks; paternal grandfather Melvern Newman; and other Aunts and Uncles.

Stephen had life struggles like all of us but through it all he had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ his savior. He was involved in care groups, bible studies, outreach groups and loved to help the homeless and people in need. He also loved music and played several music instruments. He had a way of speaking into people’s lives and helping them with things even through his own struggles. His greatest treasures were his two son’s Brady & Logan.

He will be deeply missed by his many friends, family and all who knew him.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Henderson’s Fraser Valley Funeral Home in Abbotsford.

The Funeral service is being held on Saturday October 20 at 3:00pm at HillCity Church, 3970 Gladwin Rd, Abbotsford.

There will be a viewing from 1:00pm to 2:45pm. The funeral will be live streamed at the following web address: http://www.dignitycanada.com/abbotsford (copy and paste the address into your browser to access the streaming)
